Can't believe how quickly time flies.... L'il J is getting so big 5 1/2 months already ... and I feel like I barely have enough time with her... talk about mommy guilt... how does everyone with kids and a job manage????

I think it depends on the day. Some are better and others are worse. We can't be perfect.Just take it one day at a time.
Take it easy. Only do what you have to, the rest can wait. Do you believe I gave that advice? Jenna is just so perfect. Enjoy every minute. TIme goes by very fast.
I don't have kids and I am not married but the thought that often crosses my mind at work is: How WOULD I still teach if I had kids/family?" It seems like your life would always be in a tailspin. I also think it is important to try to avoid the crazy back-to-back schedules... I work at a public library and see parents running in, dropping off stuff, leaving to bring kids to karate, coming in between soccer games, etc. I think that extracurriculars are good for kids but so is family time and just good ol' fashioned playtime...
